Multiple modes of audiovisual translation

Abstract. The author examines such phenomenon as multiple modes of audiovisual translation. The paper considers peculiarities of audiovisual translation, its classification and characteristics of multiple modes. On the basis of LOST TV series the author analyses and compares the results of audiovisual translation with the aim of detecting their advantages and disadvantages.
