TV PRESENTERS’ COMMUNICATIVE BEHAVIOUR: VERBAL, PARAVERBAL, AND NON-VERBAL ASPECTS

Abstract. This paper examines the concepts of communicative behaviour and telecommunication; reveals the main TV presenters’ professional performance criteria; analyzes their communicative behaviour. We establish the difference between verbal, paraverbal, and non-verbal aspects of behavior that let us enforce multifaceted comparison of TV presentation discourse in each linguistic culture on the basis of interdisciplinary research paradigm.
