Abstract. The paper describes the features of audiovisual translation and modern methods and techniques of english-speaking films translation (translation of dubbing text and subtitles text). It is developed and analyzed translation mistakes made by a translator in film translation and the ways of their correction is suggested. The paper concluded that audiovisual translation
is difficult type of translation, so its quality depends on the translator expertise that allows to avoid mistakes.
