Current issues of studying writer’s style in modern linguistics

Abstract. The article summarizes approaches to studying writer ’s style as a phenomenon, reflecting peculiarities of human verbal and cogitative intelligence. The author analyzes existing issues of describing writer’s style and defines the ground for its studying, using applied methods of linguistics.
