Problems of the Russian banking system development in the transnationalization trends context

Abstract.The article describes the problems of the banking system in Russia in the
transnationalization trends context. The results of the analysis of the international activities of
major Russian banks are presented. The main strategies of transnational banks are revealed.
The author offers the key actions aimed at implementing the Russian banking sector
transnationalization strategy.
