Mobilities community and system of public transport: sketch of modern social reality in Volgograd

Abstract.The article describes problems of community studies in sociology. The necessity to change perceptions of this phenomenon is discussed. In conditions of globalization the role of spatial mobility in the context of the formation of new urban communities is becoming more and more visible. Moreover, these communities cannot be considered without focusing on different mobility systems. Thus, the author proposes to study the way of constructing mobility communities in a post-soviet city.
