Localization of gastronomic section of glossy women's magazines

Abstract. The article deals with the concept of globalization in the field of mass media. The difference between localization and translation is defined, linguistic means rendering pragmatics in the process of localization are defined, and translation methods used by translators of glossy women's magazines during localization to save the pragmatics of the text are defined.
