Linguo-pragmatic issues of metaphor translation in the art text (on the material of the novel A. Makin «dreams of my Russian summers» and its translation into Russian)

Abstract. The concept «Text» is defined. Different approaches to texts classification are analyzed. The concept «Art text» is described. The concept «Metaphor» is defined. Different approaches to metaphors classification are analyzed. The role of text-forming metaphor in art text and techniques used for its translation are analyzed. The preservation of metaphor pragmatic potential in the original and the translation is considered. The main difficulties associated with the metaphors translation in art text are identified.
